This report documents low streamflows at several ungaged locations on streams in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho; provides comparisons between water year 2001 and historical streamflow data at several long-term gaging stations; and relates miscellaneous low-flow measurements from water year 2001 to measurements from water year 1977 (commonly considered the drought year of record in the region). Precipitation and temperature data are used for comparing 2001 data to long-term data. The effects of low steamflows on reservoir storages and ground-water levels also are discussed.
