Organochlorine Compounds and Trace Elements in Fish Tissue and Bed Sediments in the Lower Snake River Basin, Idaho and Oregon

Gregory M. Clark and Terry R. Maret
Abstract

This report summarizes analyses of selected contaminants in fish-tissue and bed-sediment samples from the lower Snake River Basin and compares the results with criteria and guidelines established for protection of human health, aquatic life, and fish-eating wildlife. Results from this study are intended to provide a baseline for future studies to determine sources, transport, and biological effects of contaminants in the Snake River Basin.
