USGS Programs in Idaho
Cooperative Water Program
The Idaho Water Science Center receives funding from the Cooperative Water Program for the following studies:
- Lake Coeur d' Alene Water Budget Development—website
- Water-Quality and Biological Trends on the Lower Boise River—website
- Ground-Water Resources of the Wood River Valley, Central Idaho—website
- Kootenai River Studies and Data—website
The Statewide Water Quality, Ground Water Quality, Ground Water, Surface Water, and Biological monitoring networks are also partially funded by CWP. Data from these activities, except Biological monitoring, are available through NWIS Web.
